Job summary

East Point Energy seeks an Interconnection Execution Manager to lead interconnection activities from development through commissioning. You will serve as the technical SME, coordinating with utilities and ISOs/RTOs while integrating interconnection requirements across engineering, procurement, and construction.

The role requires Electrical Engineering with 4+ years in interconnection across multiple RTOs/ISOs, and experience with NERC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Masters in Electrical Power Systems preferred.
• 4+ years of interconnection execution experience across multiple RTOs/ISOs.
• Experience leading generator interconnection through full lifecycle in development/EPC environments.
• Experience with NERC compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead interconnection strategy development from application through IA and energization.
• Coordinate with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, and transmission owners across the project lifecycle.
• Ensure integration of interconnection requirements into engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Review and validate interconnection-related engineering deliverables and compliance with standards (NERC, tariffs).
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to mitigate transmission and interconnection risks.
• Provide electrical engineering expertise across design reviews (30/60/90/IFC).
• Support equipment selection, procurement strategy, and technical evaluation of key equipment.
• Support pipeline growth and acquisitions by diligence of transmission/interconnection opportunities.
• Monitor regulatory developments and grid upgrades to inform project strategy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
