Job summary

Apple's Interconnect team is seeking a mechanical engineer to help design and bring to life next-generation high-speed interconnects and charging accessories for leading devices. You will work closely with Industrial Design, Hardware Engineering, Signal Integrity, Antenna, Reliability, Packaging, Safety, and Marketing to balance multiple design tradeoffs and deliver exceptional products.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent; BSME or higher.
• Analytical and problem solving skills as applied to mechanical engineering.
• Fluency in 3D CAD software; design for manufacturability and design for assembly.
• Experience with tolerance analysis techniques and GD&T; strong communication of concepts.
• Willingness to travel internationally (20%+).

• Contribute to all forms of interconnect technologies, including high-speed interconnects and charging accessories.
