Job summary

IonQ, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Intercompany Accounting to lead the global intercompany close and transfer pricing entries across IonQ's entities.

You will design scalable processes, implement automation with OneStream, and ensure compliance with US GAAP (ASC 810, ASC 830) while partnering with Tax and external advisors. The role is based in College Park, MD with optional remote days, and requires 6+ years of intercompany and consolidation experience in a multi-entity, multi-currency

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting or Finance required.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including intercompany accounting in multi-entity environments.
• Hands-on experience preparing intercompany eliminations and supporting a consolidated monthly close.
• Experience translating transfer pricing policy into accounting entries.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP (ASC 810, ASC 830) and consolidation.
• Experience in designing and operating internal controls (SOX readiness).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end monthly intercompany close and journal entries.
• Compute and support intercompany transfer pricing entries per policy.
• Coordinate with Tax and external advisors for transfer pricing documentation.
• Reconcile intercompany balances and manage settlement and netting with Treasury.
• Prepare intercompany eliminations for monthly consolidation; account for FX remeasurement.
• Support standalone legal entity reporting and onboarding of new entities.
• Design scalable intercompany processes and drive automation (OneStream).
• Train entity controllers and partners on intercompany requirements.
