Job summary

Novolex is seeking an experienced Intercompany Accountant to lead end-to-end intercompany accounting, consolidation, and reporting for North America. You will coach a small team and own the month-end close calendar while ensuring policy compliance.

The role requires 7–10 years of related experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, and hands-on work with SAP, OneStream, BlackLine, Baan, and PRMS. Strong cross-functional collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience with emphasis on intercompany accounting, consolidation, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end intercompany accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting for all Novolex entities across North America.
• Manage, coach, and develop the intercompany accounting team including hiring, performance management, and career development.
• Own the intercompany month-end close calendar and execution; review and approve journal entries, reversals, and reconciliations.
• Oversee entity-level consolidation across SAP, OneStream, BlackLine, Baan, and PRMS; ensure policy compliance.
• Direct investigation and resolution of intercompany differences and ensure integrity of intercompany balances.
• Review and approve general ledger, vendor, and customer reconciliations and variance analyses.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, A/P, and external auditors to resolve matters and improve reporting accuracy.
• Lead the transition to a standardized North American operating model with process design and automation.
• Analyze intercompany results and communicate insights to leadership.
• Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with standards and close requirements.
