Job summary

CU Colorado Springs is seeking an Assistant Athletic Trainer to support athletic medicine services for approximately 370 student-athletes at UCCS.

Under supervision of the Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Medicine, Director of Athletics, and Team Physicians, you will contribute to injury care, recordkeeping, and daily clinic operations, supporting athlete wellbeing and performance across intercollegiate programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries for ~370 student-athletes at UCCS.
• Maintain updated medical records for injuries, insurance, history, referrals, conditioning, schedules, and data.
• Maintain clear communication between athletic medicine staff, coaches, student-athletes, and other staff.
• Coordinate clinical and physician appointments between the athlete and UCHealth or outside referrals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
