Job summary

Lindenwood University seeks an Assistant Athletic Trainer (10 Month) to provide athletic training services for intercollegiate programs. You will collaborate with the program coordinator to supervise students and ensure quality care for athletes.

The role requires a Master’s degree, BOC certification, and eligibility for Missouri licensure, with at least five years’ college/university experience preferred. Evening and weekend responsibilities apply.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required or equivalent.
• BOC Certification required.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Athletic Trainer in Missouri.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in college/university athletic training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of the athletic training program.
• Evaluate, treat and rehab athletic injuries and educate athletes on injury prevention.
• Maintain medical records and communicate with the sports medicine team.
• Provide practice and game coverage.
• Conduct pre-participation evaluations and coordinate insurance claims.
• Supervise student employees and athletic training students.
• Teach courses as assigned and attend preceptor training events.
• Maintain licensure and adherence to NATA ethics.
• Direct equipment purchases and maintenance for facilities.
• Collaborate with staff, physicians, coaches, and athletes.
