Job summary

Imagine Children's Museum is seeking part-time Curiosity Guides to deliver interactive experiences for guests, including live demonstrations, tours, and immersive exhibit activations. You will engage both children and adults, support off-site events, and perform as costumed characters when needed.

The role emphasizes dynamic storytelling, classroom-style interpretation, and active participation in community events, with a flexible weekend/evening schedule required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• Experience working with children in educational or recreational settings preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication and ability to connect with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Interact with visitors in a friendly, professional manner and deliver exemplary customer service.
• Maintain general knowledge of all Museum exhibits and interpretation programs.
• Present programs and interact directly with visitors, including setting up and taking down sets and props.
• Maintain daily audience attendance records and report numbers to the Public Programs Coordinator.
• Assist in safety-related duties and help locate lost children when needed.
