Job summary

Akraya is hiring a UX Designer in Plano, TX on a 12-month W2 contract. You will translate tax/accounting workflows into intuitive interfaces, working with product, engineering, and research to define problems and iterate on designs.

Maintain and evolve a consistent design system, craft end-to-end journeys for power users, and validate decisions through prototyping and usability testing in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing complex B2B software.
• Demonstrated portfolio showcasing end-to-end interaction and systems design.
• Comfort designing for power users with dense data and complex task flows.

Responsibilities

• Design user journeys from concept to final execution for tax professional software.
• Simplify complex data-heavy tax and accounting workflows into user-friendly interfaces.
• Partner with product, engineering, and research to solve design challenges.
• Contribute to and maintain a consistent design system across products.
• Utilize prototyping and testing to validate design choices before development.
