ProService Hawaii seeks a Safety Consultant to advise on building, implementing, and executing workplace safety programs across Hawai'i, owning a portfolio of island-based clients. You will conduct on-site evaluations, lead training, and translate regulations into practical guidance while traveling between islands.

The role requires hands-on safety consulting, a strong track record of reducing injuries, and the ability to manage multiple client engagements with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Hands-on safety and risk-control consulting experience with a track record of reducing injuries and workers' compensation claims.
• Working knowledge of OSHA/HIOSH 1910 and 1926 standards.
• Experience building safety programs and delivering training to frontline crews and leadership.
• Ability to manage a portfolio of clients or projects independently.
• Strong communication, analysis, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on building, implementing, and executing workplace safety programs using ProService's six-step approach.
• Conduct on-site injury-prevention evaluations, accident-reduction assessments, and OSHA/HIOSH compliance inspections with actionable recommendations.
• Investigate accidents and near misses to uncover root causes and recommend abatement and risk-mitigation measures.
• Analyze injury, claims, and risk data to target high-risk clients and drive reductions in workers' compensation claims.
• Design and deliver safety training for frontline employees and leadership, guiding clients through inspections and investigations.
• Turn client results into advocacy and referrals, keeping activity current in CRM and LMS systems.
