Job summary

Psynergy Programs, Inc. is seeking an ARF Residential Caregiver in Intensive Support Services in Sacramento, CA. This full-time, non-exempt role supports clients with daily living activities, safety, and program activities.

You will assist with medications, coordinate daily living tasks, and help implement recreational and educational activities within a structured program. Driver’s license preferred and prior care experience valued.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree in psychology and 3–5 years in a residential or acute setting.
• Experience passing medications is a plus and valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to engage with clients and follow established program procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitors activities and well-being of clients to ensure health and safety.
• Assists with ADLs including feeding, bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Supports living spaces, diets, and medical regimens as directed.
• Observes behavior changes, documents observations, and reports findings.
• Provides counseling and supports client participation in activities.
• Encourages attendance to activities, groups and appointments.
• Performs light cleaning and maintains a safe environment.
• Handles medication administration per policy and records in logs.
• Assists with transportation to outings and appointments as needed.
