Oceans Behavioral Hospital Waco is seeking an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) therapist to provide direct clinical services to adults and seniors with anxiety, depression and other mental health challenges.

You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver individual, family, and group therapy, while participating in discharge planning and multidisciplinary treatment reviews. Our team emphasizes compassionate, collaborative care.

Qualifications

• Experience providing direct clinical services to adults and seniors.
• Ability to conduct assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Experience delivering individual, family and/or group therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct clinical services in line with professional practice standards.
• Plans and conducts group therapy as assigned by program leadership.
• Performs Comprehensive Integrated Assessments and documents results.
• Prepares multidisciplinary treatment plans with attending physician.
• Performs case management and discharge planning as needed.
• Attends treatment team meetings and communicates patient progress.
• Delivers ethical patient care and addresses age/disability/cultural needs.
• Conducts discharge planning involving patient support systems.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
