Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field with 2+ years in health care and 2+ years in psychiatric setting.
• Must hold active licensure (LPCC/LMHC/LCSW or equivalent) in state of practice.
• Substance use credentialing (SAC-IT/SAC/CSAC) may be required in Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Assess patients’ needs and strengths; develop treatment plans.
• Provide counseling and support; educate patients on conditions and options.
• Document progress and ensure timely records.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and confidentiality; participate in ongoing education.
• Report suspected abuse per state law and policy; maintain patient safety.
• Support system-wide clinical initiatives and regulatory compliance.
