Job summary

Rogers Behavioral Health in Wisconsin seeks a licensed mental health therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy within an acute care setting. You will assess patients, develop and implement treatment plans, educate patients on coping strategies, document progress, and collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers to coordinate care.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited school; in-training LPC-IT or equivalent allowed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions to address patients' mental health needs.
• Assess patients to identify concerns and strengths for treatment planning.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with guidance on clinical interventions.
• Provide counseling and support using evidence-based techniques.
• Educate patients on mental health and coping strategies; discuss costs/benefits of engagement.
• Document patient progress and maintain timely records.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers to coordinate care.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and system-wide initiatives.
• Report suspected abuse as required by law and policy.
• Maintain professionalism and adapt to program needs as directed by management.
• Contribute to department processes, training, and committee work as needed.
