Job summary

First Steps Recovery is seeking an IOP Manager to oversee daily operations of the IOP program and guide staff under the Program Director. The role emphasizes clinical programming, compliance, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team to ensure compassionate, evidence-based care.

The ideal candidate will manage staffing, supervise practicum students and interns, and collaborate with clinical staff and families to support treatment planning and outcomes in a dynamic outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in addiction and mental health services preferred.
• Experience supervising clinical staff and coordinating care.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and accreditation processes.
• Ability to develop and implement treatment plans with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication with patients, families, and referral sources.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the IOP program and staffing.
• Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and clinical programming.
• Monitor quality improvement activities and regulatory compliance.
• Lead interdisciplinary staff meetings to discuss treatments and risk.
• Collaborate with admissions and utilization review for patient flow.
• Maintain HIPAA, ADA, and DHCS regulatory compliance.
