Job summary

PSG/CIP is seeking a Recovery Specialist for our Day Treatment Program to provide case management to adults with behavioral health and/or substance use issues.

Responsibilities include assessments, crisis planning, group sessions, and coordinating wraparound services such as housing, employment, and education. Office is in Kenosha, WI; hours are typically 9–5, Monday–Friday, with some evenings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, or related field.
• Must have SAC/SAC-IT or be eligible to apply for licensure in Wisconsin.
• At least two years of experience with mental health and addiction issues.
• Reliable transportation daily, valid driver's license and auto insurance.

• Analyze situations and determine required services for client.
• Address basic needs and provide therapeutic interventions for housing, energy assistance and job security.
• Formulate, implement, evaluate and revise goal-oriented treatment plans.
• Develop a crisis/safety plan for the client.
• Conduct group therapy sessions.
• Maintain weekly contact with the client.
• Develop a support team of formal and informal supports to monitor progress.
• Research new resources to assist client and family in meeting goals.
• Safely transport clients as needed.

We are currently seeking experienced professionals to join our team as a Recovery Specialists for our Day Treatment Program. As a Recovery Specialist, you will provide case management services to adults with behavioral health problems and/or alcohol or drug issues. We focus on wraparound services include finding resources to assist in stabilizing housing, securing employment, furthering education, connecting with follow-up treatment and other areas of need in the person's life.

Essential Functions Of The Iop Case Manager

• Conduct an assessment to evaluate both the strengths and needs of individual.
• Analyze situations, capabilities and problems to determine what services are required to meet the needs of the client.
• Address the basic needs of the client, in addition to any therapeutic intervention, to increase effectiveness on issues such as housing, energy assistance and job security.
• Formulate, implement, evaluate and revise goal oriented and strength-based treatment plan.
• Develop a crisis/safety plan for the client.
• Conduct group therapy sessions.
• Maintain weekly contact with client.
• Develop a support team of formal and informal supports, which will meet monthly to monitor progress of goals and services.
• Research new and unknown resources and utilize that knowledge of services/resources to assist the client and family in meeting their goals.
• Safely transport clients as needed.

LOCATION AND HOURS:

Office located in Kenosha, WI. This position is full-time and hours are flexible and typical hours are Monday through Friday between the 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. Some evening hours may be required for this position.

SALARY:

$21.00 per hour

Job Requirements And Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or other related field.
• Must possess a SAC, SAC-IT or be eligible to apply for licensure in the state of Wisconsin
• Must have reliable transportation on a daily basis, a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• At minimum, two years of previous experience working with individuals with mental health and addiction issues.
