Job summary

The Village for Families & Children in Hartford, CT is seeking an Intensive In-Home Clinical Supervisor to provide clinical leadership, coaching, and supervision for a team serving children and families with complex behavioral health needs.

You will help clinicians strengthen skills, navigate challenging cases, and deliver culturally responsive, trauma‑informed care while staying connected to direct practice.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, MFT, Counseling, or related field.
  • Active Connecticut clinical license such as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent.
  • At least three years of experience working with children and families.
  • Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and crisis intervention skills.
  • Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supportive clinical and administrative supervision to clinicians, staff, and interns.
  • Coach team members through complex clinical situations, risk assessments, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.
  • Facilitate and participate in individual and group supervision, clinical rounds, and team meetings.
  • Promote high‑quality, trauma‑informed, and family‑centered clinical practice.
  • Collaborate with program and agency leadership to strengthen clinical practices, workflows, and service delivery.
  • Represent The Village in community and professional partnerships.

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate clinician/clinicalsupervisor who is excited about developing other clinicianswhile helping children and families thrive in their homes and communities.

As our Intensive In-Home Clinical Supervisor, you'll provide clinical leadership, consultation, coaching, and support to a team serving children and families with complex behavioral healthneeds. You'll help clinicians strengthen their skills, navigatechallenging cases, and provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed care.

What You'll Do

Lead, Coach & Develop Clinicians

  • Provide supportive clinical and administrative supervision toclinicians, staff, and interns.
  • Create a supervision environment that promotes reflection,professional growth, clinical excellence, and staff well-being.
  • Coach team members through complex clinical situations, riskassessments, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.
  • Support onboarding, professional development, and performance growth.
  • Facilitate and participate in individual and group supervision,clinical rounds, and team meetings.
  • Promote high-quality, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, andfamily-centered clinical practice.
  • Partner with program and agency leadership to strengthen clinicalpractices, workflows, and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with DCF, schools, primary care providers, andcommunity partners to coordinate comprehensive care.
  • Support quality assurance activities and clinical documentation standards.
  • Participate in agency initiatives, committees, and special projects.
  • Represent The Village in community and professional partnerships.
  • Support the use and implementation of evidence-based treatment approaches.

As a clinical leader, you may be asked to maintain a small clinical caseload and provide services to children and families, including:

  • Comprehensive clinical assessment and treatment planning
  • Individual and family therapy and parent-focused interventions
  • Risk assessment and crisis intervention
  • Case management and care coordination
  • Discharge planning and connection to community resources
  • Timely, high-quality clinical documentation

What You'll Bring

We're looking for an independently licensed clinician/supervisor whocombines strong clinical judgment with a genuine interest in helpingothers grow.

Required
