The Village is seeking a Clinician for Fee For Service work in a Child Outpatient Clinic, providing clinic- and school-based therapy for children and families. Clinicians work under supervision toward licensure and collaborate with DCF, schools, PCPs, and community providers to develop and implement treatment plans.
Unlicensed clinicians may be hired with supervision by a licensed clinician, and licensure is encouraged for ongoing employment.

JOB SUMMARY
Provides clinic and school based therapy to children and familiespresenting with a broad range of clinical diagnoses and presentingneeds. Services provided include individual and family therapy, parentskills training, risk assessments and crisis management, traumainformed treatment, case management and advocacy. Participates in thedevelopment and implementation of treatment plans modifying asappropriate during the course of service. Services provided are incollaboration with DCF, schools, PCPs, and other community basedproviders as needed. Clinicians are responsible for attending weeklyindividual supervision and group supervision, clinical rounds, andother department meetings. Participates as full member of themultidisciplinary clinical team. Is responsible for maintainingclinical documentation according to licensing, accreditation,Medicaid/DCF, and best practice standards. Must maintain targets forclient contact hours as determined by the department and must worktoward/maintain applicable licensure status. Opportunitiesnusand Monthly incentives!exist for training in evidence-basedmodels and support is given for use of the model with identifiedclients and families.
The Clinician provides direct services to clients, in the office,school, or other identified setting to meet the unique needs offamilies served. Unlicensed clinicians are hired prior to obtainingtheir license to practice as mental health practitioners (i.e.psychology, social work, LMFT, LPC, LADC). Unlicensed clinicians willreceive supervision by a licensed clinician and may be offeredtraining opportunities. When eligible, all unlicensed clinicians areexpected to obtain licensure in order to be considered for ongoingemployment at The Village.
