Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with children and families.
  • Bilingual and bicultural candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct clinical services including assessments and treatment planning.
  • Coordinate services with schools, DCF, primary care providers, and community partners.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and risk assessments.
  • Maintain timely clinical documentation in accordance with standards.

Position Summary

TheEarly Childhood Clinical Supervisoroverseesstaff development, clinical documentation, quality assuranceactivities, and utilization review processes while contributing toearly childhood program development and agency-wide initiatives.

The Early Childhood Clinical Supervisor may also deliver individualand family therapy, parent skills training, risk assessments, crisisintervention, trauma-informed treatment, case management, and advocacyservices. The role collaborates closely with schools, DCF, primarycare providers, and other community partners to ensure comprehensivecare for children and families.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Supervision & Leadership

  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision to staff and interns.
  • Support employee onboarding, professional development, performanceevaluation, and ongoing coaching.
  • Participate in individual supervision, group supervision, clinicalrounds, and department meetings.
  • Monitor supervisee productivity, clinical practice, anddocumentation standards.
  • Assist in implementing programmatic and agency priorities,policies, and initiatives.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance and Utilization Review activities.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and improve policies,procedures, workflows, and service delivery strategies.

Team & Community Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical team.
  • Coordinate services with DCF, schools, primary care providers, andcommunity partners.
  • Identify service gaps and help develop solutions to meet client needs.
  • Participate in agency committees, task forces, and special projects.
  • Represent The Village in community groups and professional networks.
  • Pursue ongoing training and implementation of evidence-basedtreatment models.

Direct Clinical Services

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and engage children and familiesin treatment.
  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, family, and parent-focused therapeutic interventions.
  • Complete discharge planning and coordinate referrals tocommunity-based supports.
  • Deliver case management and care coordination services.
  • Conduct risk assessments and crisis intervention as needed.
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordancewith agency, licensing, accreditation, Medicaid, and DCF standards.
  • Meet established productivity and client contact hour expectations.
Experience and Skills
Required Experience:
Education
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and FamilyTherapy, Counseling, or a related clinical field.
Experience & Requirements
  • Active Connecticut clinical licensure required (LCSW, LPC, LMFT,or equivalent).
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with children and families.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Bilingual and bicultural candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
