Maxim Healthcare Services in Concord is hiring an Intensive Behavioral Aide to work with children and/or adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in educational or healthcare setting preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience with individuals with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, or related field preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification for Adult & Children.
• Updated TB test.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior areas and crisis intervention.
• Assist with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, meals, dressing, ambulation and other tasks.
• Implement and collect data of behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan.
