Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead cross-discipline BIM work across transit and multimodal projects. You will integrate models from architecture, structures, transportation, roadway, and MEP into a federated, clash-checked deliverable.

Responsibilities include coordinating disciplines, enforcing CADD/BIM standards, mentoring staff, and developing BIM Execution Plans to guide LOE and LOD across offices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational training in CADD drafting and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intelligent models across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and lead resolution across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows across offices.
• Mentor and train production staff across geographies and offices.
• Develop BIM Execution Plans and advise on LOE/LOD.
• Interface with clients and subconsultants on model deliverable requirements.
• Perform general engineering support tasks and coordinating specifications.
