The Air Force Reserve Command seeks a senior sensitive activities intelligence professional to direct threat intelligence and mission support for its most sensitive operations. This GG-14 level role requires high autonomy and advisory duties to senior leadership, with emphasis on due diligence and OPSEC.
The selectee will analyze complex data from multiple sources, craft policy and procedures, and provide pre-decisional counsel to AFRC leadership on long-term security posture and risk management.
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the command's senior sensitive activities intelligence professional and authoritative subject matter expert, exercising an exceptional degree of strategic autonomy to direct the threat intelligence and mission support for the sensitive activities enterprise for the Air Force Reserve Command's most sensitive and compartmented operations and activities.
This is a GG-14 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-14 duties for the \"Professional\" work category are at the \"Senior\" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-14 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.
Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: knowledge of a wide range of concepts, principles, and practices and skill in applying this knowledge to difficult and complex work assignments. The degree aligns with the duty to \"conduct a comprehensive annual review of the counterintelligence training program\" through analysis of multiple data sources and proposing modifications. This is advanced work but within an established field. As well, authors and implements foundational revisions to threat intelligence/due diligence and sensitive activities policies and operational protocols. Provides authoritative, pre-decisional counsel directly to the AFRC SAO, AFRC A3, AFRC/CC, and SAF/OCX leadership on developing strategies, shaping the command's long‑term due diligence and operational security posture. Designs, develops, and institutes the procedures and systems for establishing and operating critical administrative control systems. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
