Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Intelligence Planner for the National Capital Region to integrate defense intelligence capabilities into operational planning. You will support campaign and crisis planning and prepare executive briefings for high-level decision makers.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, 8+ years of related experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong collaboration with analysts and planners across organizations. Location is NCR with standard daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 8+ years of relevant intelligence or operational planning experience, with recent experience within the last 2 years.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Working knowledge of JOPES and the joint planning process.
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with both intelligence professionals and operational planners.

Responsibilities

• Integrate collection, analytic, and targeting capabilities into DoD-wide planning efforts.
• Support development of campaign, deliberate, crisis, and time-sensitive planning per JOPES.
• Assist with red teaming and feasibility assessments within planning.
• Prepare planning documents, written products, and executive briefings for government decision makers.
• Collaborate with analysts, collection managers, and planners across boundaries.
