Job summary

Control Risks is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to support a major global technology client. The role provides first-line travel and events support through real-time monitoring, traveler assistance, horizon scanning, and technical intelligence support.

Emphasis on rapid triage, escalation, and clear communication during developing situations. The candidate should have 1–3 years of intelligence experience (or GSOC), experience with risk intelligence and incident response software, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in history, political science, intelligence analysis, criminal justice, or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of intelligence experience or GSOC experience.
• Experience with global risk intelligence and incident response software.
• Experience with emergency mass notification systems.
• Experience with travel risk management software platforms.
• Experience collaborating in a government or corporate security operations environment.
• Experience evaluating open-source information to conduct incident analysis.
• Japanese or Chinese language fluency is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor travel-related developments impacting employees.
• Provide first-line traveller assistance and support issue resolution.
• Coordinate secure transportation and vetted third-party vendors.
• Support pre-trip advisories, briefings, and traveller outreach.
• Assist with travel-related incidents and traveller distress.
• Prepare situational summaries for events (geofencing, weather, etc.).
• Conduct targeted monitoring during events and escalate concerns.
• Create and manage mass-notification groups.
• Monitor real-time alerts, assess relevance, and escalate per workflows.
• Draft concise alerts, updates, and rapid assessments.
• Provide on-demand support to internal intelligence teams.

Job description

Control Risks is hiring an Intelligence Analyst to support a major global technology client. The Analyst provides first-line support for employee travel and events through real-time monitoring, traveler assistance, horizon scanning, and technical intelligence support. The role focuses on rapid triage, escalation, and clear communication during developing situations.

• Monitor travel-related developments impacting employees.
• Provide first-line traveller assistance and support issue resolution.
• Assist with coordination of secure transportation and vetted third-party vendors.
• Support pre-trip advisories, briefings, and traveller outreach.
• Assist with travel-related incidents and support travellers in distress.
• Support review of upcoming events and prepare situational summaries, including but not limited to geofencing, tactical intelligence, and weather intelligence.
• Conduct targeted monitoring during event windows and escalat concerns.
• Create and manage mass-notification groups for events.
• Monitor real-time alerts, assess relevance, and escalat per workflows.
• Draft concise alerts, situation updates, and rapid assessments.
• Provide on-demand support to internal intelligence teams.
• A bachelor’s degree in history, political science, intelligence analysis, criminal justice, or a related discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in intelligence experience or experience working in a GSOC.
• Experience working with global risk intelligence and incident response software.
• Experience with emergency mass notification systems.
• Experience with travel risk management software platforms.
• Experience working in a collaborative environment, such as government or corporate global security operations center, emergency operations center or a major urban area fusion center.
• Experience evaluating open-source information (media, social media, and unclassified government websites) to conduct incident analysis.
• Japanese or Chinese language fluency is an added bonus.

The base salary range for this position is $70000-80000 per year. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
