Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions partnered with a premier Dallas law firm to hire an IP Trademark Paralegal who will manage domestic and international trademark portfolios.

You will file applications, coordinate with foreign counsel, maintain IP docketing, and support enforcement and licensing matters in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Intellectual Property Paralegal experience within a law firm.
• Strong experience handling trademark prosecution and portfolio management.
• Familiarity with USPTO procedures, state trademark offices, and international filing processes.
• Experience with IP docketing software; PATTSY experience is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file U.S. and international trademark and copyright applications.
• Manage trademark prosecution matters, including applications, office action responses, statements of use, amendments, and related filings.
• Coordinate with foreign counsel and oversee international trademark filings.
• Maintain and manage IP docketing systems and critical deadlines.
• Conduct trademark searches, screening, and clearance reviews.
• Assist with portfolio management, audits, and compliance reviews.
• Support ownership, assignment, lien, and security interest searches involving IP assets.
• Draft legal correspondence, reports, and client communications.
• Assist with trademark enforcement and related IP matters as needed.
• Support licensing agreements, NDAs, assignments, powers of attorney, and other IP-related documentation.
• Work closely with attorneys and clients to ensure efficient management of intellectual property portfolios.
