Job summary

O’Melveny’s Intellectual Property & Technology practice group seeks outstanding junior- to mid-level patent litigation lawyers with experience before U.S. district courts, the U.S. International Trade Commission, or the Patent Trial and Appeal Board in Los Angeles.

Preferred candidates hold undergraduate degrees in electrical engineering, computer science, or physics; advanced degrees or industry experience are a plus. Membership in the Patent Bar is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience before U.S. district courts, ITC or PTAB required or strongly encouraged.
• Undergraduate degrees in electrical engineering, computer science or physics.

The salary range in Los Angeles for this role is $225,000 - $365,000 and represents the firm’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
