Job summary

O’Melveny & Myers LLP is seeking outstanding junior- to mid-level patent litigation lawyers for opportunities in Los Angeles. The role requires experience before U.S. district courts, the ITC, or the PTAB, and a strong technical background in engineering or physics.

An advanced degree or relevant industry experience is a plus, and Patent Bar membership is preferred but not required. Strong candidates will have exposure to high-stakes patent litigation, with the ability to manage complex dockets

Preferred educational background includes undergraduate degrees in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or an equivalent degree. An advanced degree or industry experience is a plus. Membership in the Patent Bar is preferred but not required.

The salary range in Los Angeles for this role is $225,000 - $365,000 and represents the firm’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
