Keystone Human Services in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking a Program Specialist Trainee to join a team dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities. This role involves collaborating with the Area Supervisor and Direct Support Professionals to promote independence and positive outcomes.

You will assist in developing and implementing assessments and support plans, including behavioral support, while receiving extensive training and opportunities for career growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and one year experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or autism.
• Intermediate computer skills to utilize internal software programs.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

The Program Specialist Trainee assists the Area Supervisor and Direct Support Professionals to enhance and promote the independence of the individuals supported. The Program Specialist Trainee works closely with the Behavioral Health Professional who will provide direction and support in the development and implementation of individual assessments, individual support plans and other associated plans of care, including behavioral support.
