Job summary

Exavalu is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer / Technical Lead to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native approaches. You will integrate with PAS, CRM, SSO, DMS, and other enterprise systems, delivering secure REST APIs and robust microservices.

The role emphasizes workflow orchestration with jBPM and business rules via Drools, plus data modeling in MongoDB and PostgreSQL, and enterprise integration.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on AWS cloud experience and cloud-native application development.
• Strong knowledge of jBPM and Drools for workflow and business rules.
• Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience integrating with PAS, CRM, SSO, DMS and other enterprise systems.

This is a remote position.

Overview :

We are looking for an experiencedSenior Java Developer / Technical Leadwith strong expertise inSpring Boot, AWS Cloud, Microservices, Workflow Management (jBPM), Business Rules (Drools), and Enterprise System Integration.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications while integrating with multiple enterprise systems such asPolicy Administration Systems (PAS), CRM, SSO, Document Management Systems (DMS), Email services, and other third-party platforms.

The role requires hands‑on experience in developing cloud-native applications, workflow orchestration, business rule implementation, API integration, and enterprise‑grade backend services.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications usingJava and Spring Boot.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices following enterprise design standards.
• Build secure, high-performance, and highly available backend services.

Cloud & Microservices

• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications onAWS.
• Design and implement microservices architecture with scalable deployment strategies.
• Work with cloud services to ensure reliability, monitoring, and scalability.

Workflow & Business Rules

• Design and configure business workflows usingjBPM.
• Develop and manage business rules usingDrools.
• Configure workflow lifecycle, human tasks, approvals, and business rule execution.
• Optimize workflow and rule engine performance.

Enterprise System Integration

Develop integrations with enterprise platforms including:

• Policy Administration Systems (PAS)
