Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
• BA/BS degree; Associate Degree may be considered with relevant experience.
• Medical Assistant or Clinical Aide Certificate desired.
• At least 2 years work experience in healthcare setting preferred.
• Type at least 35 w.p.m.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Current documentation of Basic Life Support is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in weekly/monthly/annual reporting data validation.
• Creates presentation materials as directed by Supervisor/Director.
• Opens Acupuncture/Chiropractic/Physical Therapy provider schedule.
• Maintains and tracks inventory, orders medical/office supplies and equipment.
• Assists in the training and development of new staff.
• First point of contact to troubleshoot and provide guidance to assistants.
