Job summary

THE WELL Bay Harbor Islands in Florida is seeking an experienced Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner to deliver acupuncture and related therapies to our members.

You will assess, plan and treat within licensure, educate members, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary wellness team in a luxury, client-centered environment.

This independent contractor role emphasizes clinical excellence, patient experience, documentation, confidentiality and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Acupuncture License in good standing.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture.
• Proficiency in acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, tui na and related modalities.
• Strong knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine principles, treatment planning and patient care.
• Excellent communication, patient education and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Maintain Malpractice insurance as required by Florida law and Independent Contractor Agreement.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations and wellness evaluations using Traditional Chinese Medicine principles.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to support immediate concerns and long-term wellness.
• Deliver acupuncture treatments and related modalities within licensure and training scope.
• Provide education and wellness recommendations to support outcomes and self-care.
• Explain approaches clearly to accommodate each member’s comfort level and understanding.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation including SOAP notes and progress records.
