Job summary

Northrop Grumman Advanced Weapons is seeking an Integration & Test Engineering Manager 2 in Northridge, CA. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to plan, execute, and verify defense system integrations, with DoD security clearance requirements and on-site work.

The role focuses on coordinating hardware, software, and firmware integration, driving test activities, and ensuring MIL-STD and ITAR compliance while delivering on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic, mechanical, systems engineering, or related STEM field
• 8+ years of engineering experience in defense or aerospace, or a Master’s with 6+ years
• 4+ years in a leadership role overseeing a multi-disciplinary team of 10+ engineers
• Strong knowledge of Test and Evaluation processes
• Active DoD Secret security clearance with ability to obtain SAP
• Experience with agile development methodologies in a defense context
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for end-to-end integration, verification, and validation of defense systems
• Drive the execution of test plans, ensure MIL STD/ITAR compliance, and coordinate with stakeholders
• Coordinate hardware, software, and firmware integration across disciplines and external vendors
• Manage interface control documents and ensure timely, within-budget delivery
• Champion continuous improvement and MBSE adoption across programs
