Job summary

Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative is seeking a software integrations specialist to ensure seamless data flow between applications. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, document integrations, and collaborate with vendors, developers, and project managers to align business needs with technical solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology and hands-on SDLC experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology required.
Experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies and issue-resolution techniques required.
Thorough knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies required.
Experience working with various cooperative software applications preferred.

Responsibilities

Implement, manage and upgrade integration solutions and data mapping between systems.
Monitor system performance and optimize existing integrations for efficiency and reliability.
Identify, diagnose and resolve integration issues, ensuring system stability.
Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration, end-to-end) to guarantee reliability
Work with vendors, application coordinators, developers, project managers and subject matter experts to gather integration requirements and provide technical insights.
Create and maintain documentation and support guides for integrations.
Act as liaison between software vendors and the cooperative.
Research and evaluate technology and make recommendations to supervisor when hardware and software should be upgraded to ensure system stability and enhance efficiency.
Adhere to all SVEC’s security standards.
Provide after-hours support for application-related issues that require immediate attention.
Assist in special projects, as necessary.
