Qualifications

• Associate degree in related field required or equivalent.
• Experience with GIS, Automated Staking software and engineering tools.
• 5 years progressive electric distribution design experience preferred.
• Notary Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Certification to enter Virginia rail/quarry facilities desired.

Responsibilities

• Design underground and overhead extensions within policy and codes.
• Coordinate rights-of-way acquisitions as needed.
• Complete staking, summary/material and transformer sheets accurately.
• Act as ambassador to members and the public for project completion.
• Manage assigned vehicles and equipment and ensure safety.
• Coordinate design requirements with district personnel and agencies.
• Provide and coordinate project estimates for stakeholders.
• Acquire necessary permits to complete the job.
• Assist in special projects as necessary.
