Job summary

Veritiv Corporation is seeking an Integration Program Manager for a hybrid role to drive planning, governance, execution, and value realization of enterprise integration initiatives. You will translate deal objectives into actionable integration plans, milestones, and governance routines to protect business continuity, accelerate synergy capture, and deliver transaction commitments.

  • 5 to 10 years of program, project, integration, corporate development, strategy, operations, finance, or consulting experience; M&A integration experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, Project Management, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated executive presence, business and financial acumen, sound judgment, and the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • PMP and/or change management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop change management strategies based on situational awareness of the change and impacted groups.
  • Identify risks and resistance and develop plans to mitigate.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis and develop engagement plans.
  • Design and implement communication plans to keep stakeholders informed about the change initiative, including objectives, scope, benefits, and progress.
  • Develop training plans to ensure employees have the knowledge and skills to adopt the change.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of training programs and materials.
  • Conduct impact analyses to assess the change’s effects on employees and the organization.

HYBRID ROLE

Job Purpose: Our Integration Program Manager will be responsible for supporting the planning, governance, execution, and value realization of enterprise integration initiatives across the Veritiv enterprise. This role blends integration program leadership with disciplined project execution, serving as a critical connector between IMO leadership, functional workstream leaders, Corporate Development, Finance, and acquired company leadership. The primary responsibility will be translating deal objectives into actionable integration plans, milestones, and governance routines that protect business continuity, accelerate synergy capture, and deliver the commitments underlying each transaction.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop change management strategies based on a situational awareness of the details of the change and the groups being impacted by the change.
  • Identify potential risks and anticipated points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis and develop stakeholder engagement plans.
  • Design and implement communication plans to keep stakeholders informed about the change initiative, including objectives, scope, benefits, and progress.
  • Develop training plans to ensure that employees and stakeholders have the necessary knowledge and skills to adopt the change.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of training programs and materials.
  • Conduct impact analyses to assess the change's effects on employees and the organization.
Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications

5 to 10 years of program, project, integration, corporate development, strategy, operations, finance, or consulting experience; M&A integration experience preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, Project Management, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.

Demonstrated executive presence, business and financial acumen, sound judgment, and the ability to influence without direct authority.

PMP and/or change management certification preferred.

  • Build and maintain integration plans, milestones, dependencies, and decision points aligned to the strategic intent of each transaction.
  • Lead select integration initiatives and priority projects, managing project plans, timelines, deliverables, and disciplined follow-through.
  • Partner with Finance and Corporate Development to connect integration plans to deal assumptions, synergy targets, integration costs, and value drivers.
  • Identify potential value leakage, execution risk, or misalignment and elevate insights with recommended actions.
  • Prepare executive-ready updates, scorecards, and governance materials for IMO leadership, executive sponsors, and steering committees.
Work Experience
  • 5-10 years of related job experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.
  • Experience of interpreting strategy and policy in order to set and deliver objectives.
  • Experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timescales within the overall policy framework.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).
  • Strong planning and organization skills are required.
Education

Bachelor's Degree Preferred
