Qualifications

• Associate degree with 3+ years of technical experience or 6+ years in manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in engineering or related discipline preferred with technical work experience.
• Experience in advanced manufacturing environment or technical production setting.
• Proficiency in statistical data analysis; JMP/SAS preferred; understanding of FMEA/ SPC and structured problem-solving (DMAIC).

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to all safety and environmental procedures.
• Sustain daily production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and reliability within defined limits.
• Lead discussions with cross-functional departments and sites for effective problem-solving and communication.
• Design statistical experiments and analyze data using statistical methodologies to drive improvements.
• Interpret results from various analytical techniques and compositional analysis measurements.
• Support technology start-up, transfer, and ramp activities to meet yield, reliability, cost, and performance goals.
• Provide engineering support for high-volume manufacturing across multiple engineering departments globally.
• Support vendor discussions for improvement projects and issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain process control plans.
• Develop and provide training to engineering technicians and production associates.

This position is pivotal in sustaining product performance and improving key manufacturing metrics such as yield, efficiency, and reliability. You will address process issues, implement solutions, and facilitate technology transfer from pilot lines to our various sites, contributing significantly to operational excellence.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate's Degree in engineering or a similar technical discipline with 3+ years of technical experience, or 6+ years of technical work experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in engineering or a similar technical discipline preferred, with technical work experience.
• Experience in an advanced manufacturing environment or technical production setting.
• Proficiency in statistical data analysis and experience using statistical software (JMP and SAS preferred).
• Understanding of manufacturing engineering systems (FMEA, SPC) and structured problem-solving methods (such as DMAIC).
• Prior experience with thin film deposition, thermal and wet processing preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding and application of DOE, SPC, and structured problem-solving (such as DMAIC).
• Experience in high volume ramp and/or new tech transfer.
• Project management experience.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
