Job summary

Trace Systems is seeking an Integration Lab Manager to lead the lab operations for complex system integrations at Pope Army Airfield, Fort Bragg, NC. You will oversee hardware, software, cybersecurity, and network testing to ensure readiness and interoperability.

The role requires DoD work experience, a Secret clearance, and the ability to travel globally for field assessments and lab support activities.

Qualifications

• Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
• US citizenship is required for the role.
• DoD 8140 qualification requirements apply for the assigned work role (442 Network Operations Specialist).
• Qualifying 8140 credentials include a bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, CS, IS or related military training.
• Qualifying 8140 certifications may include Security+ CE, CySA+, SSCP, GSEC, CEH or other DoD 8140-approved certifications.
• Ability to travel worldwide; trips may extend up to two months with potential for multiple trips per year.
• Experience troubleshooting complex network issues within routed and switched infrastructures.
• Hands-on Cisco networking experience and enterprise network management tools.
• Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, multicast routing, VLANs, VPNs, and network performance monitoring.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee integration activities across hardware, software, network, cloud, cybersecurity, and communications for readiness and interoperability.
• Manage lab resources, equipment, test assets, configurations, and schedules to support customer priorities.
• Direct lab personnel supporting systems engineering, integration, test and evaluation, cybersecurity, and support functions.
• Support integration, testing, troubleshooting, and verification of mission systems before deployment.
• Coordinate with Government, engineering teams, vendors, and OEM partners on development and testing requirements.
• Travel worldwide to support CSOC projects, operations, and field assessments as required.
• Develop and maintain lab test plans, procedures, and documentation.
