Job summary

Trace Systems Inc. seeks an experienced Integration Lab Manager at Fort Bragg (Pope Army Airfield, NC) to lead the Systems Integration Laboratory, overseeing integration, testing, and fielding across mission platforms.

You will manage a small team, coordinate with Government stakeholders, and drive cybersecurity and network readiness for C5ISR and enterprise tech. The role requires DoD 8140 qualifications, a Secret clearance, and travel.

Qualifications

• Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
• US Citizenship is required.
• DoD 8140 qualification requirements apply (8140 Work Roles: 441 – Network Operations Specialist).
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems or related military training.
• 8140 certifications such as Security+ CE, CySA+, SSCP, GSEC, CEH or equivalent accepted.
• Ability to travel worldwide, including to remote locations; trips may extend up to two months.
• Experience troubleshooting complex network issues in routed/switched infrastructures.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies and enterprise tools.
• Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, multicast routing, VLANs, VPNs, and network performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee integration activities across hardware, software, network, cloud, cybersecurity, and communications technologies to ensure readiness.
• Manage laboratory resources, equipment, test assets, configurations, and schedules to support priorities.
• Direct laboratory personnel supporting systems engineering, integration, test and evaluation, cybersecurity, and technical support.
• Support integration, testing, troubleshooting, and verification of mission systems prior to deployment.
• Coordinate with Government stakeholders, engineering teams, developers, vendors, and OEM partners.
• Lead design and development of future capabilities for the SIL and related systems.
• Develop and maintain laboratory test plans, procedures, test events, baselines, and documentation.
• Ensure activities follow engineering processes, configuration management, cybersecurity policies, and quality standards.
• Support verification, validation, interoperability, regression, and operational acceptance activities.
• Identify issues and lead troubleshooting and corrective actions.
