Job summary

PeopleTec seeks a Systems Integration & Lab Infrastructure Engineer to translate lab requirements into network, computing, and HWIL designs in Huntsville, AL. You will configure Switches, servers, and virtual environments with secure Linux/Windows images and support system accreditation activities.

The role requires 8–12+ years of hands-on experience, DoD cybersecurity practices, scripting in Python/Bash/C/C++, and U.S. citizenship for security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing, configuring, and maintaining local networks, switches, servers, and lab/test environments.
• Experience administering and patching Linux and Windows systems in secure environments.
• Experience developing verification plans or procedures, executing tests, and documenting hardware/software interface issues.
• Ability to write scripts or software for automation or testing (Python, Bash, or C/C++).
• Experience implementing and documenting cybersecurity controls for DoD systems.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Translate laboratory and integration requirements into network, computing, and HWIL designs.
• Configure and maintain switches, servers, workstations, and virtual environments with secure baseline images.
• Implement and document cybersecurity controls and support system accreditation activities.
• Develop bills of materials for lab hardware, software, and prototyping tools.
• Document lab readiness for integration events and demonstrations.
• Develop scripts/tools to automate configuration, interface testing, data collection, or verification.
