Ampcus Inc. seeks an experienced RAN Integration Engineer to join our Plano, TX team. You will analyze solutions, define end-to-end delivery plans, and translate customer needs into automated 4G/5G, Cloud RAN, and Open RAN solutions.

You will lead integrations, deliver technical presentations, and mentor other engineers while collaborating with onshore/offshore teams. The role requires deep RAN knowledge, scripting (Python/Java), and data tooling (PowerBI/Tableau); candidates should have 10+

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10+ years of proven experience in RAN Build Projects.
  • Last 5 years of experience leading End-to-End Network Design, Scripting and Integration.
  • Strong knowledge of 3G/4G and 5G, and Nokia vendor equipment in OSS/ENM.
  • Proficient in Python and Java coding.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Agile sprints, manage backlogs, and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for Engineers with integration and testing experience in RAN Integration deliverables. You will be responsible for analyzing solutions & E2E delivery processes based on a deep technical understanding of our product/Nokia RAN Products/Software and develop viable end-to-end solutions for the customer projects. You will collaborate with the Customer Regional/National team in conjunction with the CU CTO, Onshore/Offshore delivery teams and PDU. In this role, you will also be accountable for solutions by translating customer needs that provide speed, scale and accuracy to script and Integrate 4G & 5G, Cloud RAN and Open RAN technologies.

You Will:
  • Scope & define solution offerings, develop and support innovations and automation initiatives.
  • Analyze customer technology, define business requirements, and participate in risk analysis.
  • Develop technical presentations and proposals and perform customer presentations.
  • Provide feedback to R&D for products and tool improvements where applicable.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation, and information sharing, developing other engineers' competency.
  • Keep up-to-date with new technology/technical areas/trends.
  • Build and lead positive relationships with internal/external customers.
Core/Critical Competencies

To be successful in the role, you must have:

Technical Expertise:
  • Extensive knowledge of our product and Nokia RAN and ENM products.
  • Experience with RFDS, RNDCIQ, RAN design parameters, and automation solutions.
  • Proficient in scripting and integration with an understanding of market configurations.
Innovation and Problem Solving:
  • Drive complex innovations with cost-saving results; ideate and develop automation solutions.
  • Identify and resolve issues to reduce Level of Effort (LoE) and improve efficiency.
Customer Engagement and Solution Development:
  • Collaborate with customers to co-create solution scopes and ensure design alignment.
  • Engage in HW/feature trials, Client/FGA alignment, and deployment standards.
Project Management and Leadership:
  • Lead Agile sprints, including planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Manage tool/product backlogs and prioritize developments for maximum impact.
Team Collaboration and Support:
  • Work with diverse teams; provide active support to SDUs and bridge competence gaps.
  • Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and provide tool support for issue resolution.
Performance and Process Optimization:
  • Optimize workflows and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Responsible for automation tools' success rate and FTR in connected factory settings.
Site Delivery and Troubleshooting:
  • Oversee e2e site delivery, integration, audits, and call testing.
  • Troubleshoot complex solutions and configurations, present RCAs to customers.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Product owner for internal tools/automations (e.g., NMT, SRS, R-EESI).
  • Handle Telecommunication Quad 1&2 responsibilities and follow up on customer input/design issues.
  • Support NPI FOA/FFA trials and ensure script readiness for HW/SW GA.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team, manage time effectively, and learn quickly.
  • Experience in documentation, analysis, and special studies related to project ecosystems.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor or master's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10-years of proven experience in RAN Build Projects.
  • Last 5yrs experience to lead End to End (E2E) Network Design, Scripting and Integration in technical and/or senior consultative role.
  • Good knowledge of 3G/4G and 5G - Experience in our product & Nokia vendor equipment (OSS/ENM).
  • Fast adaptation and abnormal case solving.
  • Knowledge sharing, developing others & collaboration skills.
  • Be flexible and responsive to changing work patterns and demands.
  • Proficient in English, written and spoken.
  • Python/Java coding skills.
  • Slice and dice data using PowerBI/Tableau.

Candidates should expect to be working from our office in Plano, TX we currently have a 3 / 2 schedule - 3 days of the work week are in office and 2 days can be WFH. Scheduling is subject to manager discretion and project demands.
