Job summary

IMPACT Drones in San Francisco, CA, is hiring an Integration Engineer to connect radars, detectors and cameras into our intercept software stack. You will integrate vendor SDKs, fuse tracks and provide a single air picture for flight controllers and C2 systems.

You bring strong C++ or Python on Linux, plus experience with networking, time synchronization and coordinate frames. Familiarity with sensor fusion or tracking helps us build robust, field-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Integrated hardware not built in-house and made it work in the field.
• Experience with sensor tracking or fusion and time synchronization.
• Strong C++ or Python development on Linux.

Responsibilities

• Integrate third-party radars, RF detectors and EO/IR cameras into our response software from vendor SDKs and interface documents.
• Combine tracks into one air picture with correct timing and positions.
• Connect our drones and flight controllers (PX4, ArduPilot, Betaflight, MAVLink) and customer command-and-control systems.
• Run test rigs and range tests proving the full chain from detection to launch.
