Job summary

Professional Transportation, Inc. in Evansville, IN, is hiring an Integration Engineer to design, develop, and support B2B integrations with Class I railroad customers.

You will build SOAP/WSDL and RESTful services, implement OAuth2/JWT flows, and manage data exchanges powering trip order intake and status updates. Working with a Scrum team, you will deploy to Azure/Kubernetes, use CoreWCF, Terraform, and Event Hubs, and follow SDLC processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\’s degree in a technical discipline is required.
• 3–5 years of full lifecycle development and integration experience.
• Experience building or supporting B2B integrations and enterprise web services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain B2B integrations with Class I railroad customers.
• Build SOAP/WSDL web services using CoreWCF on modern .NET.
• Implement OAuth2 and JWT Bearer authentication for server-to-server integrations.
• Develop event-driven integration pipelines using Azure Event Hubs (Kafka surface).
• Participate in SDLC, document interfaces, and support production integrations.
