Job summary

Evans Transportation in Wisconsin seeks a Senior Integrations Engineer to design and support enterprise integrations that connect customers, partners, and internal systems. The role focuses on the Evans integration platform and migrating integrations away from legacy applications.

You will collaborate daily with Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Customer Success to build REST API integrations, event-driven flows, and data transformations while delivering reliable, scalable, and maintainable

Qualifications

Hands-on experience as a Software/Integration/Solutions Engineer in implementation roles.
Experience building enterprise API integrations.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, data mapping, and ETL processes.
Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues.
Understanding of authentication protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect).
Working knowledge of cloud services (AWS).

Responsibilities

Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise integrations on the Evans integration platform.
Develop workflow-based integrations leveraging REST APIs, event-driven architectures, message queues, and data transformation.
Own integrations from discovery through production deployment and ongoing operational support.
Build resilient integrations prioritizing data integrity, idempotency, error handling, telemetry, and resiliency patterns.
Configure integrations between custom applications and COTS software platforms.
Troubleshoot production issues, participate in incident reviews, and create technical documentation.
