Job summary

Covation Global / United Wheels Inc. seeks a System Integration Specialist to design, develop, and maintain EDI and API integrations across internal systems, external partners, and third-party applications.

You will monitor data exchanges, onboard new trading partners, and ensure reliable, well-documented integrations that support supply chain, finance, logistics, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical training required, along with related work experience.
• 5-10 years of experience in data exchange or EDI/API management; familiarity with X12 and EDIFACT standards.
• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Experience setting up and maintaining FTP processes across various tools/platforms and data formats (JSON, XML, CSV).

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain data integration processes and interfaces between enterprise systems and external trading partners.
• Communicate and work with trading partners to establish requirements for onboarding.
• Support and enhance EDI systems, including setup and maintenance of X12 and EDIFACT transaction sets.
• Configure and manage secure data transfer processes (FTP/SFTP) across platforms such as TrustedLink, CLEO, GoAnywhere, and Windows Server environments.
• Map data fields between systems and validate transformations to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
