Job summary

ProTrans International is seeking an experienced Software Developer / EDI Integration Developer to design, develop, support, and enhance B2B and application integrations that enable critical supply chain operations.

The role focuses on EDI, Azure Integration Services, Microsoft Logic Apps, APIs, and cloud-based integration solutions to support customers, trading partners, and internal systems. This onsite position is based in Indianapolis, IN.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
10+ years of experience in software/EDI development and integration.
Experience with Azure Logic Apps and Azure Integration Services.
Experience supporting EDI solutions including ANSI X12/EDIFACT.
Strong REST APIs, JSON, XML, and data integration knowledge.
Proficiency with C#, .NET, SQL Server and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy and support EDI and system-to-system integrations using Azure Integration Services.
Develop and maintain Azure Logic Apps, Functions, API integrations, Service Bus messaging.
Support EDI processing with ANSI X12 standards such as 204, 210, 214, 940, 943, 944, 945, 990, 997.
Collaborate with customers, trading partners, and internal teams to gather requirements.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and implement long-term solutions for production integrations.
Maintain mapping, transformations, validation rules and business processes for EDI.
Create technical docs including interface specs and mapping documents.
Promote best practices for integration architecture, security, and reliability.
Support migration from legacy platforms to modern Azure-based integrations.
Participate in code reviews and agile sprint activities.
Provide mentorship to junior developers as needed.
