Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Solutions/Integrations Engineer to serve as the technical contact for external partners. You will lead discovery, define data flows, and translate needs into concrete engineering requirements.

The role requires deep REST API expertise, strong SQL skills, and the ability to coordinate across Product, Engineering, Underwriting, and Operations. You will validate integrations with testing and data verification before production and help build reusable

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solutions engineering, integration engineering, or similar
• Direct experience working with external customers or partners
• Experience owning third-party integrations from discovery through production
• Strong REST API knowledge
• JSON, XML, and flat-file data formats
• Bachelor’s in CS, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• Familiarity with X12 837/835, HL7 or FHIR is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with external partners and understand systems, data, and constraints
• Design integration solutions based on partner maturity and requirements
• Translate partner needs into engineering-ready requirements, user stories, and data flows
