The Position:

Client: Commonwealth of Pennsylvania – Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC)

Location: Hybrid; Remote Off-Site and On-Site in Middletown, PA

Note: Hybrid work environment is expected to be one week per month on-site in Middletown PA as scheduled, and for additional in-person meetings, work sessions, planned implementations, or system issues as needed.

We are seeking an Integration Developer to add to our team assisting the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) Information Technology (IT) Department.

Our Integration Developer will perform the following duties:

• Responsible for design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise integration solutions using Microsoft .NET, C#, and Azure cloud technologies, middleware systems, document storage and retrieval solutions, cloud hosting, and more, to ensure they technically work seamlessly together for best-in-class performance.
• Analyze solution components and their respective integration models.
• Assess integration options for high-volume processing.
• Apply best practices towards leveraging on-demand open APIs.
• Identify opportunities to reduce the need for data replication and integration.
• Drive continuous improvement by enhancing technical integrations, streamlining data flows, and optimizing system performance.
• Lead the development and implementation of complex solutions that meet tolling project requirements, leveraging CRM, Azure cloud services, IVR technologies, and integrating with external systems as needed.
• Design and implement robust integrations between SAP, CRM systems, Azure cloud services, IVR systems, and various external systems (e.g., payment gateways, backend databases, traffic management systems).
• Design and optimize IVR systems to enhance tolling customer interactions and operational efficiency while ensuring seamless integration with CRM and tolling backend systems.
• Fully document all created work associated with this position, including technical and functional designs and diagrams, test plans, test scripts, impact analysis reports, lessons learned, best practices for others to follow, plus any other documentation as required by the Commission. This documentation shall follow the format and / or templates as instructed by the Commission.
• Adhere to and follow all The Commission standards, policies, and procedures.
• Perform tasks and other duties as related to this position and role and assigned by the Commission.

The Skills and Experience:

• 8+ Years: Developer experience with knowledge in Azure cloud solutions, IVR systems, and integrations with external systems, specifically in tolling projects
• Strong understanding of Microsoft government and commercial cloud platforms (Azure), including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings
• Design and implement integrations with external systems in the context of tolling projects (e.g., toll collection systems, traffic management systems)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - Master’s degree preferred.
• Prior experience with PA Turnpike tolling solutions
• 10+ Years: Experience developing complex systems integrations for high-volume organizations within SAP, MS Dynamics 365 CRM, MS Azure Cloud
