Vast is looking for an Integration Build Engineer to support the development of systems for artificial-gravity space stations. This full-time position will be located in Long Beach, New York, where you will collaborate with engineers to plan and manage testing procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4+ years of relevant experience. Vast offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical coverage and generous paid time off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 4+ years of engineering experience, preferably in complex assembly.
• Experience with test plans and providing go/no-go judgment.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Support operations and ensure unblocked workflow.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate test completion.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on test plans and requirements.
• Document and resolve non-conformances.

Skills

Hands on hardware integration and testing experience

4+ years of related engineering experience

Experience writing test plans

Experience working with technicians

Education

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, aerospace, electrical, or similar field
