Job summary

Sub-Zero Group, Inc. in Goodyear, AZ is seeking an engineering professional to join the Integrated Systems Engineering team.

You will develop and integrate assembly and test technologies to ensure a robust manufacturing process and may lead design, assembly, programming, and commissioning of equipment. This role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, plus 4+ years in an engineering manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• BS or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in engineering manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as point of contact for Integrated Systems Engineering and coordinate with the team.
• Develop and integrate assembly and test technologies for a robust manufacturing process.
• Lead design, assembly, programming, and commissioning of equipment.
• Contribute to new product development with input on design, PFMEA, early builds.
• Create system documentation: BOMs, schematics, drawings, maintenance procedures, operating instructions.
• Document, train, and assist personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Serve as point of contact for the Integrated Systems Engineering department and work cooperatively with the team to successfully meet their initiative.
• Develop and integrate assembly and test technologies to ensure a robust manufacturing process including leading the design, assembly, programming, and commissioning of equipment.
• Participate in new product development projects providing input to design, PFMEA, early product builds, equipment development and product troubleshooting.
• Generate system documentation including bills of materials, equipment schematics, assembly drawings, preventive maintenance procedures, and operating instructions.
• Document, train, and assist personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

Required

Bachelors or better in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Bachelors or better in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Experience

Required

Strong organizational skills

The ability to work in a team environment

Good facilitation and communication skills

Electrical circuits and system knowledge

Experience with control systems or functional test systems

4+ years working in engineering manufacturing environment

Preferred

Project management and leadership experience a plus

Demonstrated programming experience (LabVIEW, Python, Visual Basic, C++, PLC)
