Job summary

Textron launches a 10-week, full-time internship in Cartersville, GA, focused on integrated supply chain sourcing. You will assist material planning, issue purchase orders, and help optimize processes while gaining hands-on experience on real Textron projects.

Qualifying students will have a bachelor’s track in supply chain, strong communication, and solid time-management skills. Eligible interns receive mentorship, training, and a prepaid stipend.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective time management and prioritization abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with material planning requirements, issuing purchase orders and expediting orders.
• Develop new processes and improvements, including procedures and problem analysis.
• Manage inventory and reorder points based on manufacturing schedules.
• Prepare reports and internal communications as requested.
• Perform system data analysis, maintenance and clean-up.
