Job summary

HCL Technologies seeks an Integrated Solution Lead (ISL) – Solutions Architect to drive end-to-end solutioning across Cloud, Data, and AI. You will lead discovery, specify product documents, and run 4–6 week innovation sprints with COE teams and SMEs.

This is a customer-facing, technically grounded role requiring deep engineering skills and strategic vision. You will own end-to-end solutioning for opportunities, collaborate with Sales and Delivery, and embed GenAI capabilities to differentiate

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Engineering / IT Services / Digital Transformation.
• Strong experience in Azure Cloud ecosystem.
• Good understanding of cloud architectures (microservices, containers, serverless).
• Exposure to AI/ML and GenAI concepts, including LLM-based solutions, copilots, or AI agents.
• Proven ability to author Vision Documents, Feature Specs, and Product Documents.
• Strong skill in defining problem statements, scope, user flows, and expected outcomes.
• Experience writing developer-ready specs including user stories, workflows, inputs/outputs, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience in proposal development, customer presentations, and stakeholder management.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or Engineering (Masters preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of Vision Documents, Feature Specifications, and Product Documents.

Integrated Solution Lead (ISL) – Solutions Architect

We are looking for a dynamic and self-driven Integrated Solution Lead (ISL) to drive end-to-end solutioning across Cloud, Data, and AI-led engagements. The ISL is a customer-facing, technically grounded role that combines deep engineering expertise with the ability to articulate and shape product vision. The ISL engages directly with customers to understand problems and use cases, translates them into Vision Documents, Feature Specs, and Product Documents, and then drives execution through structured 4–6 week innovation sprints in collaboration with COE teams and technical SMEs. This role partners closely with Product Engineering customers, Pre-Sales, Sales, Delivery, and COE teams to understand customer challenges, define solution strategies, and translate them into scalable, differentiated offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary customer-facing point of contact during the discovery and solutioning phase — deeply understand the customer’s problem statement, business context, and use cases before defining a solution path
• Lead the creation of Vision Documents, Feature Specifications, and Product Documents that clearly articulate problem statements, scope, user flows, expected outcomes, and measurable success criteria; technical depth is essential to make these actionable for engineering teams
• Drive structured 4–6 week innovation sprints to take a customer use case from POC/vision plan to a working prototype or MVP — coordinating closely with COE teams, technical SMEs, and delivery squads to ensure execution quality and speed
• Own and drive end-to-end solutioning for customer opportunities across Cloud, Data, and AI domains
• Collaborate with Sales, Pre-Sales, Delivery, and COE teams to shape compelling solution narratives and proposals; act as the central coordinator across internal stakeholders — COE, technical SMEs, Product, Delivery, and Sales — ensuring alignment throughout the engagement lifecycle
• Lead the creation of Points of View (PoVs), solution decks, and value propositions aligned to customer business outcomes
• Guide teams in executing Proof of Concepts (PoCs), pilots, and MVPs within time‑boxed innovation sprints — from vision plan to working prototype — ensuring measurable outcomes and stakeholder visibility at every stage
• Embed AI/GenAI capabilities (Copilots, AI agents, automation, analytics) into solutions to drive differentiation
• Work with delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility, scalability, and cost optimization
• Engage with customer stakeholders to present solutions, articulate value, and influence decision‑making
• Continuously track emerging trends in Cloud, AI, and data engineering, and bring them into solution strategy

Requirements & Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Engineering / IT Services / Digital Transformation, preferably in Hi-Tech or Enterprise domains
• Strong experience in Azure Cloud ecosystem, including services across compute, storage, networking, and security
• Good understanding of cloud- architectures (microservices, containers, serverless, event-driven systems)
• Exposure to AI/ML and GenAI concepts, including:
  • LLM-based solutions, copilots, or AI agents
  • Prompt engineering, RAG architectures, or AI orchestration frameworks
• Proven ability to author Vision Documents, Feature Specs, and Product Documents — from concise executive 1-pagers to detailed functional specifications; technical depth is a prerequisite, not optional, for this skill
• Strong skill in defining problem statement, scope, user flows, and expected outcomes in a structured manner
• Experience writing developer-ready specs including user stories, workflows, inputs/outputs, and acceptance criteria
• Experience in proposal development, customer presentations, and stakeholder management
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across COE, technical SMEs, Sales, Pre-Sales, and Delivery during time‑boxed innovation sprints (4–6 weeks) — driving accountability, managing dependencies, and maintaining sprint momentum
